The Liebherr LTM 1300-6.3 is a 300-tonne mobile crane mounted on a six-axle chassis, designed with the motto “Reaching new heights.” Its primary lifting tool is a 90-meter telescopic boom, which is one of the longest in its class. For additional reach, the crane can be equipped with a variety of lattice jibs, including an 11.5 to 20-meter double swing-away jib (K/NZK), a 4 to 39-meter powerful jib (S), and an 8 to 43-meter hydraulically adjustable fixed lattice jib (NZF). The maximum system length, combining the 90-meter boom with the 20-meter double swing-away jib and a 14-meter telescopic boom extension, reaches an impressive 120 meters, as indicated on the cover. This makes it exceptionally well-suited for demanding applications like the erection of wind turbines and industrial construction.

A key feature of the LTM 1300-6.3 is its powerful and flexible boom system. The brochure highlights its high lifting capacities, particularly with the “Strong Jib” (Starke Spitze), which is a 4 to 39-meter jib that provides a strong system for steep working positions. The crane is equipped with several advanced technologies to enhance safety and efficiency. The VarioBase®Plus variable support base allows each outrigger to be extended to individual lengths, enabling quick and safe setup in all situations. The VarioBallast® system provides a choice between two counterweight radii—4.94 meters with 88 tonnes or 5.94 meters with the same weight—allowing for higher lifting capacities and greater economy for working with a large radius, and a smaller footprint for a smaller radius. The crane is powered by a single 8-cylinder Liebherr diesel engine producing 455 kW (619 PS). It also features ECOmode, which automatically disengages the pump drive when idling to reduce fuel consumption and noise. For transport, the crane is optimized for efficient road travel and quick setup. Its total counterweight of 88 tonnes is made up of ballast plates that are designed for fast ballasting in just a few hoists, with 42 tonnes of ballast fitting within the vehicle width.
